The Reverend Canon Lance Cameron Horne is our Vicar and has been with us since 2011.
He is a Floridian and Episcopalian since childhood raised in West Palm Beach.
Fr. Lance is married, has three sons, one daughter, and four grandsons.
He received his Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and his Master in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA.
The Rev. Canon Horne served in the U.S. Navy for 30 plus years. He commanded the Portsmouth Nuclear Refueling Submarine Shipyard. He retired at the rank of Captain, U.S. Navy receiving the President’s Legion of Merit.
He is a Blue and Gold Officer for the Department of Admissions, U.S. Naval Academy.
The Rev. Canon Horne received his Master in Divinity from the Protestant Episcopal Theological Seminary in Virginia.
Fr. Lance has served in several churches as Vicar and Rector in the Diocese of Hawaii and the Diocese of Florida. He is canonically resident in the Diocese of Florida.
He is a retired Santa Fe Regional Canon to the Bishop of the Diocese of Florida.
He has served on the Diocese Standing Committee and currently serves as secretary of the Diocesan Council and Diocese Meeting of Convention.
